EXAMPLE USE CASE
A landfill in Australia uses a municipal solid waste gasifier that converts a wide variety of solid waste to useful products. These reduce landfill volume and resulting methane emissions. The gasifier’s dirty exhaust is connected to an RTO. In turn, the oxidizer’s clean hot exhaust drives 247Solar’s Heat2Power Turbine to produce electricity and also to supply heat to the gasification process.
Twenty percent (20%) of the turbine’s output eliminates the gasifier’s power costs. The remaining 80% is available for profitable sale. The turbine’s waste heat (up to 650oC) can be used by different gasifiers in different ways.
