247Solar Continues Expansion with Deeply Experienced New Hires
247Solar continues expansion with two key additions to its engineering and finance teams.
Toni Fersini joined March 1 as Senior Renewable Energy Project Engineer. Toni is an Italian engineer based in Madrid, Spain with over 20 years of experience in the solar field, specializing in engineering, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of complete Concentrated Solar Power plants. He has worked on CSP projects in various countries worldwide, including Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America, and Asia.
Toni’s experience includes founding his own engineering and consulting company focused on concentrated solar thermal systems. In previous engagements, he has led engineering tasks related to feasibility studies, EPC, and technical consulting in CSP, PV, and Hydrogen, coordinating multidisciplinary teams around the world. In his new role, Toni will support pre- and post-sales engineering efforts around 247Solar’s industrial and utility heat and power systems including equipment sizing, installation, and commissioning.
“When I was 16 years old,” Toni says, “I found a feasibility study for a CSP project on my land in southern Italy. I was fascinated by the technology and decided that this was what I wanted to do. Since then, my professional and personal life has been a direct result of that day, and I’m excited about joining the 247Solar family.”
Toni holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Politecnico di Bari in Italy.
247Solar also welcomes Sarthak Kukreti as Corporate Finance Associate (Investment Banking & FP&A). Sarthak brings experience at the intersection of engineering, predictive analytics, operations, and strategic finance. His background includes industrial analytics and data-driven decision support, as well as project synergy and risk evaluation for renewable and distressed energy assets. He has also worked as a product management consultant in AI/ML, helping early-stage technology ventures design operating rhythms and scalable decision frameworks.
In his role with 247Solar, Sarthak will support strategic finance and transaction readiness initiatives across the company. His work will include building and maintaining operating, scenario, and sensitivity models; supporting cash forecasting and decision-support processes; and partnering cross-functionally on ERP migration, project execution, and operational planning.
“I enjoy connecting strategy to numbers in a way that drives better decisions,” Sarthak says. “I was drawn to the practicality of 247Solar’s approach and the opportunity to help scale a solution that can deliver economically meaningful clean heat and power.”
Sarthak holds an MBA from Babson College, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, and a Master of Science in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
“We’re excited to add Toni and Sarthak to our team,” says CEO Bruce Anderson. “It’s a testament to the promise of our technology that these two outstanding professionals have chosen to join us to contribute to our growth.”
