Great Falls, Virginia, USA, — 247Solar is pleased to announce the addition of David Noble, P.E., to its expanding engineering team.
In his role as Senior Mechanical Engineer, David will engineer the key components of 247Solar’s solutions for round-the-clock clean industrial heat and power, including the company’s solar receiver, high temperature piping, and insulation systems. He will work with suppliers to specify and source high-temperature materials and specialty components, prepare engineering reports and documentation, and write and execute test plans.
David Noble brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in power transmission, structures, high‑power rotating machinery, and industrial equipment including pressure vessels, welded piping, pumps and automation.
“I have always enjoyed designing and building great equipment with an emphasis on reliability,” he says. “I was drawn to the practical simplicity of 247Solar’s technology and I look forward to helping the company demonstrate its feasibility and ability to make an economically meaningful difference on a large scale.”
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. He is an active musician and enjoys the outdoors.
