by | Feb 8, 2022 | NEWS & PRESS

February 8, 2022 – 247Solar, developer of the world’s lowest-cost 24/7 solar technology, announces the growth of its senior team with the addition of a new and talented Senior Manager, Bids & Contracts, Chanchal Kalra. Kalra will join 247Solar in the company’s mission to globally deploy the first high-temperature, modular solar power with overnight storage for around-the-clock renewable energy solutions.

Kalra’s background spans management, senior executive, and deputy positions, including roles with Toshiba JSW Power Systems and Larsen & Toubro, making him an authority on technology business growth. Kalra’s location in Haryana, India, just north of New Delhi, underscores 247Solar’s commitment to a team with diverse backgrounds and experience. Kalra brings exceptional assets that will further dial up the company’s engagement in the clean energy and renewables markets, necessary for steering 247Solar’s swiftly accelerating growth.

“The world and the climate challenges we face are enormous. With our exceptional team, 247Solar is represented in all the critical corners of our vast planet. Our geographically diverse group ensures we have hands on deck where we need them most. The impressive disciplines, backgrounds, capabilities, and specializations we seek in every member of our team are reflected as we welcome Chanchal,” said Bruce Anderson, founder, and CEO of 247Solar. “I can confidently say he’s as happy as we are.”

At 247Solar, Chanchal will lead, negotiate, and execute responses to the best global tender opportunities for the company’s 247Solar Plants ™ and HeatStorE™ batteries. He brings nearly a decade of comprehensive commercial project management experience identifying and managing project risk and scope, coordinating effective strategies under challenging foreign trade policies, and leading megawatt power engineering projects. His leadership also includes the preparation and negotiation of global commercial proposals.
